Meraki Cruz Travel, its owners, partners, hosts, and affiliated tour operators act solely as coordinators of travel experiences and do not own or operate the hotels, transportation providers, activity companies, or any third‑party services used during a trip. By booking a tour, retreat, cruise, or travel package, each participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:

Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, accidents, property loss, delays, changes in itinerary, natural events, and actions of third parties. By participating in any tour or activity, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel.

Release of Liability

By registering for a trip, you agree to release Meraki Cruz Travel, its owners, hosts, employees, agents, and partners from any and all liability for:

• Personal injury, illness, or death

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal property

• Delays, cancellations, or changes caused by airlines, hotels, transportation providers, weather, political events, or any third party

• Any incident occurring during free time or optional activities not arranged directly by Meraki Cruz Travel

This release applies regardless of whether travel insurance is purchased.

 

Recommended Travel Insurance

To help protect yourself from unexpected events such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, or lost luggage, Meraki Cruz Travel strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance through Allianz Global Assistance. This insurance may provide coverage for many of the risks described above; however, Meraki Cruz Travel is not responsible for any costs, claims, or losses not covered by the policy. 

It is the participant’s responsibility to review the policy details, understand coverage limits, and file claims directly with Allianz.

Responsibility for Personal Decisions

Participants are responsible for their own safety, health decisions, and personal belongings at all times. You agree to follow local laws, respect cultural norms, and exercise reasonable caution during all activities.

By booking a trip or submitting a registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer and that you are participating voluntarily.
